Synopsis
A retired CIA agent is hunted by both the agency he worked for and his own nightmares when he receives an unexpected visit from an unknown man after nearly three decades. Production was halted in March 2020 due to government restrictions. During this time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed with and treated for non-Hodgkin lymphoma. After recovering, the series resumed production. Bridges referred to the return as a “long weekend” on a podcast in July 2022. He appeared at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards (2024). I watched this miniseries because of Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow. They never disappointed, but the plot and screenplay did. Much of the plot was riddled with holes, and the supporting characters were often wooden. A thriller like this shouldn’t bore the audience at times. Unfortunately, it was for me.
