The filmmakers used what they already had on hand
Synopsis
After being resurrected by a malevolent entity, Art the Clown returns to the shy town of Miles County, where he attacks a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. The scenes filmed at the Terrifier haunted house were filmed at a real haunted house called the Fright Factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Art’s favorite acid is fluoroantimonic acid, which he keeps in a clear glass bottle. It is a superacid capable of dissolving even glass.
Art the Clown:
There is a mid-credits scene in a mental institution with Chris Jericho as security guard Alan Burke and Leah Voysey as a nurse. The German DVD and Blu-ray releases from Tiberius Film are shortened by about three minutes to provide a “Not under 18” rating (this was necessary because video release guidelines are stricter than theatrical releases). Basically every scene of violence has been trimmed to tone down the violence. The 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray Mediabook releases by Nameless Media are completely uncensored and have received a light SPIO/JK approval.

The Equaliser (Not Alone) Written by Tim McEwan and Tyler Lyle (as Jamison Tyler Lyle) Performed by The Midnight Courtesy of BMG Platinum Songs U.S. (BMI). So I started this hoping it would have the same format as the first one. A psychopathic clown meets strangers and kills them in gruesome ways over the course of 90 minutes.
What happened was not that
Don’t get me wrong, the gore was turned up to 11 and they made it a bit funnier. But there were some really drawn out scenes. And I thought they did that to establish a plot and story worth watching. They even did some plot devices that at first seemed like it would be a damn good sequel.
But when the credits rolled, no questions were answered, no plot was resolved
It’s so disappointing that I could really go on about it, but why bother.
