Synopsis
Follow Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Badingham as their long-running rivalry comes to an end. The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC television adaptation of Poldark. I’m laughing at some of the reviews, clearly from readers who take themselves too seriously.
It’s so much fun
This is a Jilly Cooper adaptation. It’s not a series to be intellectualized or moralised. Perfectly designed.
Like Taggies hair
Yes, RCB’s hair and eyes are the wrong color. But they work. Somehow.RCB will disappoint some because of this.
Danny Dyer is perfect
But Alex Hassell captures everything else about him. David Tennant is EXCELLENT as always. And Aidan Turner is just wonderful, if a little young, to play a bit of Declan.Falters in the final third.
It’s great fun
But yes. I watched it all in one go. There’s a lot to love about Hulu’s streaming offerings this month — enjoy brand new series premieres and favorite movies to watch at home on the site.
