A rushed, unfortunate, lazy finale and a slap in the face to both new and old fans
As we prepare for “House of the Dragon,” we reminisce about the magnificence that was “Game of Thrones.” Seasons 1–6 are truly outstanding television, right up there with The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Audition, the best of the best. The quality of season 7 deteriorated, but it was still somewhat enjoyable, and then season 8 followed, which turned out to be a mistake of epic proportions.

That being said, nothing can take away the wild, brilliant, emotional ride that is Game of Thrones seasons 1-6. I want to believe that it was canceled after the 6th season, and we will never see the real finale 😉
