Synopsis
Art the Clown is ready to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they sleep peacefully on Christmas Eve. Director Damien Leone has said that several major studios have expressed interest in financing this film based on the unexpected success of Terrifier 2 (2022), even without a completed script, but he turned them all down because he is certain they would never let him film the opening scene alone, which he describes as “very controversial.” Leone has commented that the only reason he can be so uncompromising in his depiction of horror and gore is because he finances his films independently, creates all of the special effects to keep costs down, and doesn’t have any major studio breathing down his neck to make the film more popular. Mia mentions that the 5-year anniversary of the original massacre was coming up soon, but it happened to be on Halloween, and this film being set on Christmas 5 years later would mean that the anniversary had only passed 2 months ago.

There is an uncut version of the film that is 2 hours and 25 minutes long with 5 additional scenes. Features Terrifier 2 (2022). A masterpiece Written by Drew Fulk, Joe Occhiuti, Paul Wiley, Spencer Charnas, and Steve Sopchak Starring Ice Nine Kills and Shavo Odadjian Everyone gave this film a 1: There’s no story; it’s just an excuse for gore.
Every sequence is kids going to camp (or NYC, or outer space LOL) and getting killed in increasingly creative ways
You’d think anyone who’s watched the third installment of the Terrifier franchise would know what to expect from this film. Given that, there’s no real plot beyond Art going on a holiday killing spree; this time, he’s accompanied by Victoria instead of The Little Pale Girl from the second film. While the entire film is perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing (the Christmas aspect looks great and the gore/effects are more realistic), I prefer the raw, gritty feel of the original.

There are some very imaginative kills – to the point where you wonder who thinks of these things – which adds the shock and dark humor that fans will appreciate. There isn’t as much of a fantasy and supernatural aspect as Terrifier 2, which I didn’t enjoy anyway, so this film is a nice return to form for Art and his victims. Good opening sequence with plenty of suspense, a good amount of screen time for Art’s antics, a good climax and conclusion that sets the stage for Terrifier 4 (which has already been confirmed).
