Synopsis
Anora, a young sex worker from Brooklyn, meets and impulsively marries the son of an oligarch

At the Cannes Film Festival press conference, Mikey Madison said that director Sean Baker will act out differently sex positions with his wife, producer Samantha Quan, to show the actors what he wants to do. A cleverly written and funny script with a sweet story really kept me engaged in the first half of this movie.
Then the movie really becomes something elsewhich I appreciated, but ultimately not what I expected or, frankly, really wanted
The pacing definitely slowed down a bit too much and I felt like the movie kind of lost its momentum for a bit. The last scene is exactly what I wanted to happen between two characters, but another main character was totally denigrated, which I wish wasn’t the case.
Just for her, I recommend you watch this!
