He was eventually tasked by Jupiter and other Roman deities to return to Earth to find and kill Hephaestus, the former deity who had betrayed them

From there, he is resurrected as a Christian and finds himself on his way back to Rome, on a mission to prevent the spread of Christianity, as he crosses paths with the new Emperor Lucius.

The studio decided not to proceed with this version, but the script is available to read online

The film would end with Maximus cursed to live forever, featuring a montage of the soldier fighting through the Crusades, World War II, and the Vietnam War, eventually revealing a modern Maximus working in the Pentagon in Washington.

Julia’s Brother: Julia, I thought I told you to stay away from me -[Art kills him with an axe]

Synopsis

Art the Clown is ready to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they sleep peacefully on Christmas Eve. Director Damien Leone has said that several major studios have expressed interest in financing this film based on the unexpected success of Terrifier 2 (2022), even without a completed script, but he turned them all down because he is certain they would never let him film the opening scene alone, which he describes as “very controversial.” Leone has commented that the only reason he can be so uncompromising in his depiction of horror and gore is because he finances his films independently, creates all of the special effects to keep costs down, and doesn’t have any major studio breathing down his neck to make the film more popular. Mia mentions that the 5-year anniversary of the original massacre was coming up soon, but it happened to be on Halloween, and this film being set on Christmas 5 years later would mean that the anniversary had only passed 2 months ago.

There is an uncut version of the film that is 2 hours and 25 minutes long with 5 additional scenes. Features Terrifier 2 (2022). A masterpiece Written by Drew Fulk, Joe Occhiuti, Paul Wiley, Spencer Charnas, and Steve Sopchak Starring Ice Nine Kills and Shavo Odadjian Everyone gave this film a 1: There’s no story; it’s just an excuse for gore.

Every sequence is kids going to camp (or NYC, or outer space LOL) and getting killed in increasingly creative ways

You’d think anyone who’s watched the third installment of the Terrifier franchise would know what to expect from this film. Given that, there’s no real plot beyond Art going on a holiday killing spree; this time, he’s accompanied by Victoria instead of The Little Pale Girl from the second film. While the entire film is perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing (the Christmas aspect looks great and the gore/effects are more realistic), I prefer the raw, gritty feel of the original.

There are some very imaginative kills – to the point where you wonder who thinks of these things – which adds the shock and dark humor that fans will appreciate. There isn’t as much of a fantasy and supernatural aspect as Terrifier 2, which I didn’t enjoy anyway, so this film is a nice return to form for Art and his victims. Good opening sequence with plenty of suspense, a good amount of screen time for Art’s antics, a good climax and conclusion that sets the stage for Terrifier 4 (which has already been confirmed).

For whatever reason, genuinely funny comedies have become an increasingly rare cinematic commodity in recent years, so it's a real treat when one comes along that satisfyingly tickles the funny bone. Such is the case with director Max Barbakow's third feature effort, the wild and wacky tale of a dysfunctional crime family seeking to recover the hidden loot from a heist carried out by the family matriarch (Jen Landon) 30 years earlier. Leading the charge are twin brothers Jady (Peter Dinklage), a career criminal recently released from prison, and Moke (Josh Brolin), a gifted but long-reluctant thief who's now trying to go straight.

It's also a cautionary tale in the notion of there being no honor among thieves, even when they're members of one's own family

While some of the film's segments are obviously a little overwritten and overplayed (especially by Fraser), much of this romp plays fairly well, reminiscent of one of the Coen Brothers' movies (though admittedly not quite as polished). If nothing else, though, it represents a huge step up from the filmmaker's last outing, the positively horrendous "Palm Springs" (2020) (my worst film of that year), as well as a major improvement over many of Amazon Prime's recent disappointing offerings, an accomplishment largely made possible by the performances of its stellar ensemble cast (particularly the three principals) . "Brothers" isn't epic filmmaking by any means, but it's a good way to get some hearty laughs at home on a Friday night with a big bowl of popcorn, and that's pretty satisfying all by itself..
